Great Eldorado BBQ, Brews and Blues Festival

This summer, the best BBQ, Brews & Blues combine to take over North Virginia Street in front of the Eldorado Hotel Casino. The 14th Annual Great Eldorado BBQ, Brews & Blues festival kicks off the summer street festivals in downtown Reno, June 25 - 26.

Microbreweries from around the world will post along Virginia Street and pour cool and frothy microbrews from 3-8 p.m. on Friday and 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Saturday. Festival goers can choose from a selection of the Eldorado's own Brew Brothers' custom microbrews as well as creations from the region's best breweries. Past breweries have included the Alaskan Brewing Company, Josef Bierbitzch, Newport Beach Brewing Company, Deschutes Brewery, St. Stan’s Brewing Company, Sierra Nevada and more than 30 others.

Hearty foods will also be sold street side including savory ribs, grilled chicken, spicy sausage and more fresh food from the outdoor charbroil grill. Fresh Margaritas and flavorful daiquiris, as well as premium cigars and souvenir merchandise are also available at the festival. Live entertainment will be on every corner of the festival, all day. Past events have featured performances from Tommy Castro, Coco Montoya, Classic Rock All Stars, Buddy Emmer Band, The Shane Dwight Blues Band and more!

Brew fans don’t have to wait until June for one of a kind brews, pub food or blues; The Brew Brothers, inside the Eldorado, is the only Northern Nevada casino microbrewery serving up pub food and fresh brews seven nights a week. Named “Best Brewpub in America” by Nightclub and Bar Magazine, The Brew Brothers is downtown’s hot-spot for live music and rich microbrews. Sample one of eight unique, award-winning craft brews including Big Dog Indiana Pale Ale, Carano Extra, Gold Medal Winner Redhead Amber Ale, Double Down Stout, Wild Card Wheat, Gold Dollar Pale Ale and two monthly brew master specials. These ice cold brews are just $3.50 for a 15oz and $4.50 for a 23oz. pour.

The Brew Brothers is open daily from 11:30pm Monday through Sunday. The Brew Brothers is also known for featuring the area’s best live musicians nightly. Sunday through Thursday, the entertainment begins at 10:00 pm and 10:30 pm Fridays.
