Hot country rocker John Eddie will appear at Harrah's Reno for a one-night only performance on Saturday, September 11, 2004. The rising star and his band will take the stage in The Virg Rock 'n' Roll Club starting at 9 p.m.
Returning to Reno after playing to a packed crowd on July 23 for the KTHX - Reno News & Review "Rolling on the River" concert series at Wingfield Park, Eddie is a favorite among local rock 'n' roll enthusiasts. His latest effort, Who the Hell is John Eddie?, has been hailed by both critics and fans alike. Several songs from the album, including "If You're Here When I Get Back" and "Let Me Down Hard," are played in regular rotation on Reno's KTHX 100.1 FM.
Eddie, a Virginia native, has spent the last few decades in his adopted home base of New Jersey, playing to capacity crowds at famed nightclubs like the Stone Pony in Asbury Park. His mixture of original songs combining country, soul, folk and rockabilly have won him a legion of loyal fans including Bruce Springsteen. Eddie's latest success with his debut disc for Lost Highway Records has him on the road this summer playing venues across the nation.
