This year’s event features the striptease act Diablo’s Darlings performing to the music of the Handsome Devils. There will be a costume contest with the sexiest and best costume winners receiving $1,000 each. Cost is $25 or $140 for a booth for four.

HARRAH’S RENO: The Halloween party starts at 8:30 p.m. Oct. 28 in the Sapphire Lounge. DJ Stepdaddy plays hip hop, house and R&B from 9 p.m. to 1 a.m. A costume contest takes place at midnight, with a $100 bar tab going to the winner. Guests must be 21 and older to attend.

PEPPERMILL HOTEL CASINO: The fourth annual Skin ’n’ Scare Halloween Ball takes place from 9 p.m. to 3 a.m. Oct. 28 in the Tahoe Ballroom. The party will feature a costume contest with more than $3,000 in prizes for scariest, skimpiest, best couple and best group costumes. The costume contest takes place at the door between 9-10 p.m.; guests arriving after 10 p.m. cannot compete. E.J. of E.J. Presents will spin music for the partygoers. Cost is $25. A VIP table is $400, which includes entry for four people, the choice of one bottle of liquor from a select list and VIP cocktail service. A table for five is $450.
